Dr. Somersille is a graduate of Harvard College, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Baylor College of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology Internship and Residency. She is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists who has had a personable private practice in the Peninsula and South Bay since 1996.

Dr. Somersille comes from a long line of women dedicated to addressing woman’s issues–from her great-grandmother who was a rural midwife to her mother, an attorney, who advocated policy changes for women and children.
